About Me

I was raised in church and accepted Jesus when I was six at a backyard VBS and have served Jesus ever since.  I was always involved in church.  As a teenager I was part of a Bible Quizzing team in Teen Talent and had loads of fun doing it.  I still remember scripture that I memorized during those years.

I attended college at Lee University and met my husband there.  We have been happily married for over 20 years now.  For our 20th anniversary, he took me to Europe - on a missions trip to Romania as a family.  I give him a hard time about it and he responds that he did indeed take me to Europe.  We had a great time there and seen much fruit.  In fact he is talking about our family going back next summer.

We have two wonderful and beautiful gifts, a girl age 16 and a boy age 13.  They are very involved in sports from August to May which keeps us hopping.  They are good kids who have a heart for Jesus!  We have truly been blessed by our special gifts!

I work full time in higher education as an executive assistant.  I enjoy my work and the people around me.  It does get crazy around there at times but it's all good.

In addition to being a wife and mother who works full time, I am also a pastor's wife who is involved in many ministries of my own, not to mention helping my husband in various ways.  I love what we do, although it does have its moments just like everything else.

Recently at work we took a strengths test and one of my top strengths was developer.  A developer is one who recognizes and cultivates the potential in others.  This was an eye opener for me as I have always enjoyed helping women find ways to bring out the best in them.  I just didn't know what to call it until now.  My passions include ministering to women and developing them, and worship.  I can't sing in tune, but I sure do love to worship my King and give Him all praise and honor.

God has been so good to me and my family in so many ways.  I want to proclaim His deeds among the people!

Join me on this journey of becoming the woman God has created us to be!
